The featured digital collection contains masters' theses that won or were nominated for the annual UIS Outstanding Thesis Award. Pictured above is the cover to “Child Life Psychosocial Program Model,” part two of The Psychosocial Needs of Families Affected by Cancer: A Child Life Model, the thesis for which Jessica Wiederholt was nominated in 2005. Wiederholt’s program model is intended to provide the framework for a pediatric oncology team to follow in order to implement a comprehensive psychosocial program.
