Register to attend the CARLI Annual Meeting on Friday, November 1, 10:30 am–­3:00 pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center in Champaign. The meeting will feature presentations of research by and/or about CARLI Libraries. Each session will last approximately 35 minutes (including Q&A)

Sessions topics will include: 

  • Leveraging Research Results for Change, presented by Dave Green, Northeastern Illinois University and Lynda Duke, Illinois Wesleyan University
     
  • What Do Faculty Favor?: Local Implementations of the Ithaka Faculty Survey in Illinois, presented by Scott Walter, DePaul University and Jen-chien Yu, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
     
  • CARLI Libraries Assessing Library Impact: Engaging a National Initiative, presented by Lisa Hinchliffe, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Amy Glass, Illinois Central College; Mary Thill, Northeastern Illinois University; Heather Jagman, DePaul University; and Sarah Horowitz, Augustana College
     
  • Building Multilingual Research Collections to Serve National Research Needs, presented by Joseph Lenkart, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Mara Thacker, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and Tom Teper, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
     
  • Making POWRRful Progress: The Digital POWRR Project Update, presented by Lynne M. Thomas, Northern Illinois University, and Jaime Schumacher, Project Director, Northern Illinois University
